So you have chosen that carrying concealed is appropriate for your needs and lifestyle. Now what? How do you choose the right firearm and holster? Do you know the laws for your state? Ok you've picked your preferred tools, but do you know how to draw? What if you're in a suit or a dress? What if your family is with you? There are so many questions that need good consideration and thought out strategies.
The goal of this course is to help build students in concepts and principles of drawing from concealment. Students are also given instructions and advice in fighting from unorthodox or less-than-ideal positions that reflect the possible reality of a violent encounter. Some of the information covered includes:
- The Four Safety Rules
- Legal Considerations
- Handgun & Holster Considerations
- Drawing from Concealment
- Defense of a Third Party
- Unconventional Shooting Positions
- Single-Arm Shooting
- Close Contact Shooting
If you want to grow in any of these areas or want to gain a new prospective, then please join us! Lets make use of the last few weeks of good weather before snow flies! This course has a classroom component and then hands on range time. It will be held at Enfield Outing Club on Saturday, 24 October 2020 from 0800 to 1700 (8 to 5).
